My wife (Libby Gilley) was diagnosed with breast cancer in September of 2008 which returned in her abdomen in 2012, and then it eventually came back in her brain in January of 2014.
In March of this year Libby lost her five year long battle.
A Way to Help
Libby's Living Legacy is a fundraising effort to build a playground to honor Libby's 42 years of teaching children. We have taken Libby's 1997 Toyota Landcruiser and lifted it to accomdate 35" tires, new bumpers and winch, and a safari rack (see the photo for what we have done so far). Her calm little "mama car" has becoming an off-road beast that will be raffled off by the Chattanooga Valley Lions Club to raise money for the playground.
