The Story

The orphanage usually has about 30 kids, from age 5-17. These children have been abandoned by their own parents, but they still taught me so much about joy. Even though Mario and Blanca (owners of the orphanage) frequently live month to month on donations, they are wanting to build a soup kitchen and Christian school for the neighborhood.

If there is any extra money (past what I need for transportation, fees, etc), it will go to the orphanage to help with our project of fixing up the grounds. We will be leaving on January 10th and returning on the 18th/19th. If you can't help financially, I also covet your prayers for wisdom in planning and also for safety when we are in Mexico.

I finally posted on my blog about Mexico! Only took me three months. Sorry about that. Anyway, hope you enjoy a closer, more intimate look at my time in Mexico.

2014 Orphanage Project

In January 2014 our work project will be to make repairs at the orphanage. We will repair everything from beds to washing machines. Every dollar given this year will go into making these badly needed repairs that never seem to get done.

I got the video done last night!

Hope you enjoy it - lots of blood, sweat, and tears went into it. Just kidding, only sweat and tears. I'm hoping to get my thoughts together on Saturday and write up that blog post then.
