The Story

I am looking for donations of any denomination to help one of my employees, Denetria Holt, who lost her home in a fire 8/24/13 in Raleigh, NC.

Dee is a very hard worker with 2 boys, ages 16 and 2. She had just completed her school shopping for the oldest, went to have dinner with her family at her mothers house when she got a call from her sister informing that the apartment complex Dee lived in was on fire. Dee and her boys lost everything. As you can see from the video, the fire spread quickly. The blaze started on the second floor, Dee lived on the side engulfed in flames on the third floor.

This is where we come in. We need to help this family get back on thier feet. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!

Thank you for donating to A Plea to Help Dee.

8/28/13 Update:

Dee was hoping to salvage anything from her home. The updated pictures are the aftermath of the fire, as you can see, the entire third floor is gone.

This is what is left of her home.

8/26/13 update:  Donations of all types are coming in. Dee is overcome with great emotion seeing the outpouring of love and support from everyone in the community.

We are just getting started! Let's keep up the great work and get to the goal amount. With financial strain, Dee had to let her renters insurance go to make ends meet. The only financial help she will be receiving is through this fundraiser.

Please continue to show your generosity and support A Plea to Help Dee.
