We have had some little artists who have been very busy donating their talent to help us with our Ukrainian adoption. I needed a few envelopes decorated, and before I knew it, this fundraiser had taken on a life of its own! During a very stressful and emotional time, these are the moments that keep us going. OK friends, here it is. The LAST adoption fundraiser.
There are 102 envelopes. Each envelope is marked with a number 1-102.
You choose an envelope, and you donate that amount of money. It's that simple.
If you choose envelope #5, you donate $5. If you choose envelope #102, you donate $102. You get the idea, right? What happens if you really want to donate $100, but someone else already took that envelope? Well, choose two envelopes: like #60 and #40. Again, very simple.
Only have $4 to give? Your son wants to give the only $1 he has? Perfect! We need people to take the $1 and $4 envelopes to reach our goal! We are grateful for every dollar given- because every dollar brings us that much closer to our goal!
If all 102 envelopes are chosen, we will raise over $5000 which will cover a large part of our airfare expenses. Our original goal of fundraising was to cover airfare, which we estimated to be around $7000. We have raised around $3000 at this point in time. We have paid for all other hosting and adoption fees with our own paychecks, savings, borrowing against retirement, loans, etc. We do not expect for people to pay for a decision that *we* made, however, every little bit helps!
So, private message on facebook, email me a [email protected] if you would like to buy an envelope. We will send you one of the envelopes the children decorated. You can fill it with cash, write a check, or if you are more comfortable use our pay pal account.
