Jade has received a bone marrow transplant. The following is from November 2013: Contact the Organizer
Jade Baeza is a young girl currently battling cancer (leukemia) for the second time. She beat cancer once and we are faithful that she will do it again. We first learned about Jade a couple years ago while she was fighting leukemia for the first time. Our goal is to rally behind her and her family, showing support and encouragement any way we can. We ask you to join us through prayer and a financial contribution--no matter how small. We, having a young daughter who also fought the fight against childhood cancer (liver cancer), know firsthand the impact every dollar can make during a time like this. We thank you in advance for your prayers and support. Every dollar donated will be directly deposited from the youcaring site to Jade's family account so that they can use it as needed. This may include anything from medical bills to comfort objects for Jade to grocery shopping or transportation to and from the hospital and more. God Bless.
The following information has been provided to us by Jade's aunt: "Being treated at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital. She currently is waiting on a bone marrow transplant. Her hobbies are music, her favorite bands include Nirvana, Sublime, The Addicts, amongst others. She also enjoys to design her own clothing and cheer. She planned to attend Moore Middle School as an eighth grader, but is currently being home schooled. Jade is a fun and outgoing young lady who is always giggling and puts a smile on everyone's face. Her constant positive attitude is what got her through the first time and will get her through this time. She can't wait to go home."
