Lets not sit back & wait for someone else to start collecting donations. 26 families will have to pay for a funeral in the next couple of weeks, the cost of a funeral is tremendous, especially in this economy. 
I have left a message with the funeral home in Newtown-100% of the donations will go to the funerals. 
I know this is a tough time for everyone but if we ALL gave even just $1, imagine the difference we could make?

We cannot bring back the lives taken but we can help to lie them to rest.

Our hearts go out to all the victims and their families on this tragedy. We are heart broker over all of the loses and their families. We have two children and can't imagine how difficult this must be to the parents and loved ones of the people whom were so cut short. Hello, I was able to speak to a woman at Honan Funeral Home in Newtown, CT. She told me that the funerals have been paid for 100%!!!! This is amazing news, I do not know who covered the costs, it must have been an astronomical amount. The Rotary Club of Newtown is still collecting for the families, so I will send all of the donations collected here to them instead. As of this post, we have raised $546!!! Thank you to everyone who donated! The rotary's address is: Newtown Rotary Sandy Hook School Fund PO Box 263 Newtown, CT 06482 I will be printing out all of your comments and delivering a money order to it to the rotary club.
