Lex touched many during his brief, yet memorable time. While his life was short, many that were touched by him understand that the quality of existence can far exceed the quantity of time in which you live it.
Although Lex was very small, with less energy than other children his age, he possessed heroic strength, love, and the ability to overcome incredible odds. His excitement for life led us to believe that each day is a wondrous thing, and an opportunity to create lasting memories while enjoying what it has to offer.
He loved Superheroes, watching the Avengers, The Justice League, and even Buzz Lightyear in their daily pursuit to put evil in its place. There were often days where he was Spiderman for breakfast, Batman for lunch, and Captain America for dinner with short stops as other various heroes in between. Nothing pleased him more than taking a handful of heroes and going off to do battle, protecting the citizens of earth.
With Lex’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss him everyday, his life was full of fun and laughter worth remembering. It has been a privilege to be his parents. We are happy Lex’s sister Nancy met him and hope she will hold dear the memory of his amazing spirit.
Lex leaves behind many, including one Great Grandparent, four grandparents, ten Uncles, nine Aunts, and fourteen Cousins. His favorite people were his sister, Nancy, and his cousins, Landon and Lowell.
This fundraiser is to help with his medical costs, and give those who wish to donate to the family a location to do so.
Thank you all so much for your love and support.
