THERE ARE NO OTHER FUNDRAISERS FOR SHANESHA. ANY OTHER BEING SETUP IS FRAUDULENT. PLEASE REPORT ANY OTHERS TO YOUCARING.COM BY CLICKING THE CONTACT TAB AND MESSAGING THEM THE URL TO THE FAKE FUNDRAISER! Thank you!
There are some of us that feel that Shanesha was in an unfortunate situation that sadly an economy like ours is putting many single mother's in a position to make terrible mistakes like this. This fund raiser was set up in an effort to help Shanesha and her situation.
Please understand that I am flooded with emails everyday from people asking questions and it is so hard to keep up with all of them. I'm just a 24 year old girl struggling like Shanesha who set this up. I never expected it to blow up this big but I'm still oh so glad it did. Below I've answered common questions I receive:
1. How do I know Shanesha is getting the funds and how is it being used? While the fundraiser was originally set up to cover bail costs along with other potential expenses, a local AZ church was able to post bond on behalf of Shanesha on March 31st. We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from the Arizona community as well as others from around the world.
I was able to speak with Shanesha for the first time today. She will be receiving the first installment of the fundraiser this week. Shanesha is overwhelmed by the generosity of so many strangers. She is going to need continued support (of all kinds). I hope that you will see fit to continue donating to this fundraiser. Every cent is given directly to Shanesha.
The only other thing I think can reassure youwith is the many interviews I've done with School newspapers, KTAR radio, magazines, az12 and 3tv. I will also be on MSNBC's News Nation with Tamron Hall on April 1st. I just wouldn't put myself out there in public eye and risk fraud charges if this was not legit.
2. Can I help her by other means such as a job, child care, etc.?
If you are interested, you can email me but PLEASE only if you are 100% certain as I will be forwarding all these emails to Shanesha's email for her to review when she is out.
3. I would like to interview Shanesha, you, and/or her family, etc:. At this moment please respect that this is a trying time for her and her family. I can and will be more than happy to forward the email to Shanesha's email to review when she is out. It will be labeled differently in her email so she can easily navigate through people reaching out, interviews, etc. If you would like to interview me though, please let me know.
Thank you all so much for your donations and help. I too am struggling to keep my head above water and can relate to all your stories and offers. This is an experience I will truely cherish for the rest of my life. I have never been a part of such an amazing community and even international outreach. It's something I stand back in awe of everyday.
