My daughter and her family were burnt out of their apartment this past Sunday.  The place is unlivable so they are in a motel.  Two adults,  a three year old and an old english bulldogg.  Thankfully they were not hurt but a half hour earlier Jaxxon would have been in the room next door to the one that burned.  He doesn't understand why he can't go home, play with his toys and sleep in his own bed.  They are short on money and are trying to find an apartment.  They have to travel every day back anf forth from one town to another two towns over where their apartment and Jaxxon's pre-school are.  Gas and meals out are expensive.  Everyone has been great but they could really use some financial help.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Well it's just 5 days short of three months and the insurance co.has not deliveted the kids furniture and Jaxx toys back to them.  Had to buy new clithes for Jaxx as all the clothes that he had gotten for Christmas he'd outgrown.  Now he's looking for his outdoor toyd like yhe new quad that he had gotten for Christmas and that he will probsbly be to big for.  He still doesn't understand where everything is or why when he goes looking hd can't find toys.  Money is still very tight with the weather the way its been and it looks like the restoraton service is going to be taking all of the insurance money.  Would appreciate any help you can give.  Thank you. Still not sure what is salvagabe and still have problems with the ins co they were told that after all the fees there may not be any money left to replace the things they lost. All of Jaxx's things from when he was a baby was in the attic and weren't able to be saved. It will be at least 6-9 months before they can go home. It is very hard to try and explain to a 3 year old what is going on why he doesn't have his toys why he can't go home right now fortunately they have a temporary apartment . Thank you all for the love and support

I am so sorry that this update has taken so long but a lot has been happening.  Becca, Doug and Jaxx nowhave an apartment just down the street a short distance away from the old apartment.  Everyone has been absolutely fantastic.  Unfortunately not so good with the insurance department - they have (the insurance co.) that all the fees for moving and cleaning of their belongings are going to come out of the money that was supposed to go for replacement items.  So by the time everything is said and done they will not have any money or any new items to start over with.  Aren't you glad that you pay your insurance companies.  So that is the new news.  They are still going to be without alot of their things.  Hoping to have a better update next time!  Thank you for your help.

Just to let everyone know the statue of Becca, Doug and Jaxx
The restoration company has started to bring their things out of the apartment to see what can be saved.  It is going to be a long slow process.  In the meantime we are all trying to keep Jaxx from dwelling on the fact that he wants to gk home because how do you explain to a tbree year old that you can't.    They are living in a one room at the motel and trying to stay upbeat.  They appreciate all the all the donations.  Hopfully they will be able to thank each of you themselves.  We all really apreciate your help.
