After a challenging pregnancy and an almost five-week hospital stay for me (Kayla). Zane Maxximus Deysie arrived via emergency c-section on January 23, 2017; Zane was born at 26 weeks and weighed in at 1 pound 11 ounces, 12 inches long. We still have a long journey ahead to bring our baby boy home. David & I have been visiting the NICU at St. Josephs Medical Center in Phoenix Arizona every weekend Thursday evening right when dad gets off work til Sunday evening to spend as much time as possible with our new bundle of joy, this is a combined 342 miles every weekend for David & I and our kids from Williams Arizona. The expenses have been immense and will continue to grow as Zane's NICU stay. The money raised with be used to our travel, lost wages, gas, food, bills and other additional expenses continue over the coming weeks and months.
Zane is doing very well and is 43 days old today 3 pounds 6.1 ounces & still needing 28 percent oxygen which keeps going up and down somedays. Doctors say he can come home May 1st and thats only if he's breathing on his own, can hold his own temperature and can keep his weight up.Your prayers and well wishes are still needed for his strength and health as he continues to grow. We know that the support system of family and friends will help guide us through this journey! Every contribution is appreciated very much, thank you for your love and support!
