Over the past four decades, more than 200,000 people have had life-changing experiences here at Richardson Springs. Not only do we make a difference in the lives of those who come here every year for camps and retreats, we are also closely involved with our local community, reaching at-risk youth, and serving the homeless population in Chico. We coordinate teams who go every month to Mexico to build homes for families in need and to serve orphans.
Youth with a Mission is a faith based organization that trains, equips and sends out young people throughout the world to make a difference. We have over 2,000 bases and over 50,000 volunteer staff. Youth With a Mission has been at Richardson Springs for over 25 years serving the community.
We are the largest campus of our kind, and have the potential to multiply our effectiveness. But we are limited by a terrible road that hasn’t been fully repaired for nearly 100 years.
Here are just some of our contributions to the local and overseas community:
- Hundreds of at risk youth attend summer camps here each year and for many it’s a life changing experience
- In just one year our Mexico Adventures program served over 8,000 meals, built 26 houses, extended two schools and handed out hundreds of shoes, baby and clothing items
- We volunteer at the local homeless shelter, partnering with them to care for this community
- We are taking our aquaponics agricultural knowledge to third world nations (an orphanage in India is our first project taking place in January 2016)
Fixing our road is an ambitious and much needed project and we cannot do it alone. To make this happen we need the help of our friends and our community.
Would you give generously today? Your investment in us will help pave the way for the thousands who will travel on our road to get inspired, to get equipped and to get going to change lives, change communities and change the world.
Will you partner with us? Will you help us fix the Road to the Nations?
