Wintergarden Presbyterian is a small congregation, with an average attendance of 40 people throughout the year. Our "small but mighty" congregation serves over 1,400 people a year through feeding people in community and with the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition. We truly do enjoy gathering together to eat as a faith community. Here are some ways we feed: fellowship after church, luncheons, community picnics and potlucks, neighborhood block parties (so we can get to know those who live by us), serving at the Homeless Coalition, and offering a free meal once a month to those in our neighborhood. We love to feed those who are in need-homeless, hungry, alone and single, older, or addicted. It is our hope that we can start serving at the Homeless Coalition twice a month and doing the free community meals every Sunday night. Expanding our feeding ministry into our community will allow us to truly be the hands and feet of Christ.
