Wilmer Catalan-Ramirez spent over 10 months in detention following a warrant-less, and violent raid that left him with a broken shoulder on March 27, 2017. At the time of his detention, Wilmer was recuperating from multiple gunshot wounds, rendering half of his body paralyzed. While in detention, Wilmer received insufficient medical care and authorities have refused to provide him with indemnification given the physical long term damage his detention caused him. After a long fight, and the constant and unwavering support of his family and community, Wilmer is finally home with us. However, he continues to need support as prior to his detention he was the main provider for his family and he is currently not physically able to work. Wilmer requires long-term medical care and therapy for the damage caused to his shoulder. Please support and share so Wilmer's family can heal and continue fighting for justice!
