The Story

JOKOT Foundation is as a non-profit organisation created by group of  enthusiastic volunteers who help stray cats in Warsaw.

Our main aims and activities:

  • neutering and spaying free-roaming cats living in Warsaw
  • helping abandoned pet cats
  • treating stray kittens and finding homes for them

We take care of few hundred cats at a time. All are treated, de-wormed, vaccinated, spayed/neutered - and look for responsible homes. Many are chronically ill and require prolonged (and expensive) care.

Winter has just arrived to Poland. This is especially hard time for homeless and sick. Stray cats are extremely difficult to get help when injured and ill as not many vets know how and want to take care of wild, often agressive animals.

JOKOT is experienced and fully equipped to save and cure wild cats. However this costs a lot of money - usually medical treatments require sedation.

Photos show few cats saved lately - young cat that lost her leg, another one with spin broken in car accident, old cats left alone in empty house or kittens rescued from heavy infection.

Please help us saving more lifes.
