As you all have heard, Hurricane Harvey has devastated our beloved city and community. Our school was very lucky to have survived the flood, however so many families and teachers were not as lucky. We keep hearing "How can we help?" Our small incredible school has always operated on a very lean balanced budget which unfortunately does not provide us with the capital to cover relief aid to our families during an emergency situation like this.
In keeping with our school's mission to provide children with a loving, safe and caring environment for our students, we would like to provide assistance to those families in need to help lift the financial burden of tuition during this catastrophic time. We are raising money to support those families who will need financial help to pay for their children's school this year. Without your help, we fear some of our families will not be able to afford to send their children to a Jewish Day School.
This is one opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of these children, to give them the stability and nurturing environment they are used too. Every single dollar counts and will make a big difference. We are forever grateful and our school, community and city will survive this and come out stronger then before. From strength to strength, the UOS Goldberg Montessori School at Brith Shalom.
