There CAN be "beauty for ashes" and "joy in sorrow". We are living proof that GOOD can come from even the darkest moments of life. We believe that God does work for the good of those who love Him. That no matter how broken this world is; He is always at work. Although the void from the loss of Judy is undeniable, we will choose to focus on the "life" that her death allowed.
We aren't sure why God used these 2 families to encounter something so supernatural, but we are thankful that He did. His soverienty and protection was made evident through our family's experience.
We wanted to surprise Tunde and simply thank her for her servanthood, but then we felt led to share our "testimony" with friends. Little did we know what would happen next. Our friends were moved and they shared it with their friends, and then those people shared, and then those and so on. Last time we checked the Facebook post, there were over 700,00o views, 7,000 shares and the money continues to rise every hour. We had planned to shut the site down tomorrow, but can't do that as long as people are continuing to share. Obviously, God is at work in the heart of His people.
Tunde never once asked our family for help even though she had approaching financial school deadlines that she could not possibly meet. Tunde has exuded humility through the entire experience and given God all of the praise. Her authenticity is evident on the video. Her school advisor became aware of the funding site and gave her an extension to pay fees. The "pay-it-forward" ripple effect has been beautiful.
Whether you were a friend of the Wrights, a friend of Tunde's, a co-worker, an aquantaince, a fellow believer or a perfect stranger....you have been part of something much larger. You have helped death lose it's sting in our family, you have contributed towards a deserving servant and you have most likely changed the course of many people's lives. God is love and He has a plan. Love is powerful. Thank you all.
