We will host a summer mentorship program for 20 junior high at-risk students with Communities in Schools-Baytown (CIS). These students have faced obstacles in their lives and can benefit from participating in activities over the summer alongside adult male mentors. Costs are related to transportation, food, supplies and venue purchases for the young men. Ages range from 12 to 14 years old.
These young men have improved their behavior and grades over the past year and are excited about the potential for a summer program to keep them engaged and improving for the next years to come.
Your contribution will help our students learn the behaviors and tools to continue to be successful products of the school and the community.
