The Story

Dear ones,

With a very heavy heart I want to tell you that my most precious niece Sadie Grace unexpectedly went to be with Jesus today.

There was a tragic accident today and the Andrews family is now without one of their bright and shining stars.

I know funeral costs will be exorbitant and the family is under a tremendous amount of grief right now.  If you find it in your hearts would you consider donating whatever you feel led?  The body of Christ is powerful when we act together and if we can help alleviate their burden let's do so.

Above all else, please pray for my dear sister Corrie and brother in law Tracy. The pain insurmountible  right now.

Your support for the Andrews family has been truly overwhelming. We have never seen God move in such a powerful and mighty way in the wake of a heartbreak like this.

The family wanted me to share with you that God has put a mission in their hearts.  He has told them that he wants them to minister to families going through crisis. In light of this vision, they would like to start a family camp as a memorial to Sadie  be a place of healing and comfort for others who have endured similar hardships.  They realize that God has a much bigger plan for this tragedy than even they realize and want to be obedient to his calling.

Any funds collected after meeting the families immediate needs will be used for this purpose.  We are in the process of trying to set this up right now but just know that your donations will be used not just to aid the andrews family but many others as well.

We are placing phone calls to get assistance in setting up this Foundation.  If anyoanyone has experience setting things like this up I would welcome any assistance. Please feel free to email me directly.

In the awesome and mighty name of Jesus I thank you from the very bottom of our heart!

Friends, I wanted to give you an update on what occurred today straight from Corrie.

The family was at a local ice cream store which had an outdoor a picnic table and nearby is a large sewer opening covered by a wooden top. The wooden top turned out to be rotten; Sadie fell thru; that’s why it took 45 min. to find her. Coroner’s office was going to do an autopsy, but Tracy intervened; police had video evidence that it was an accident. Owner of the store may be in trouble for negligence. Owner’s wife asked police when they were going to “get this all cleaned up so we can reopen for business.”
Corrie and family are planning to go to church tomorrow  to keep life somewhat normal.
Please feel free to share this update
Cason is internalizing grief, didn’t eat, and threw up. Sabrina and Piper are asking lots of questions. Piper wanted to know what they would do with Sadie’s things, like her blanket which she had to have every day. But miraculously, God began to prepare Corrie this morning. Sadie put her blankie in a plastic bag and told Corrie that she was going to give it away. When Corrie asked why, she said that she was a big girl. Corrie clarified, “so you don’t need it anymore?” Sadie said ,”No.”

On a personal note, Sadie was my personal joy and we had the most special relationship in the world.   This is a big loss but I am thanking the creator for his genius and creativity in making such a distinct, joyful soul full of so much life. She added so much to my life.
