Our dear friend, Tom Olsen is missing and was last seen in the Las Vegas metro area on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017. We are particularly concerned because the statistics available from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department website state that there are between 5-7 adults on average who go missing in Las Vegas every day, around 200 adults every month. Because of the high number of missing persons cases in the LV metro area and the LVM PD’s limited resources and scope of authority when privacy concerns are also needing to be considered, the LVM PD’s own website suggests hiring a private investigator to assist in the effort of finding missing persons.
Therefore, we are hoping that additional professional attention of licensed, investigative experts in the LV metro area will provide some heightened assistance and support in finding our friend, Tom. The LVM PD states that they are willing and able to cooperate and communicate with licensed investigators in these matters, so we believe this effort is well founded and may be of some potential benefit.
Thank you for your care and concern, as well as your financial support to help find Tom.
- It is our intention to direct any unused money donated to this fund, beyond the scope of finding and ensuring the safety of our friend Tom, to be donated to the Salvation Army Missing Persons program and/or the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System: Missing Persons Database.
