Third Root Community Health Center practitioners and teachers will provide services over the coming months for those in our neighborhood who face oppression, fear for their imminent physical safety, or are otherwise in need of support or holistic healing. As a community that thrives on its diversity, it is critical that we come together at a time when many of our neighbors have been directly targeted by hateful rhetoric and actions because of their religion, ethnic origin, race, gender, gender-identity, and immigration status. Let’s stand together in solidarity with our neighbors who are in need of healing strength.
Donations will be used to provide low and no cost healing services, including community acupuncture and yoga for individuals who are experiencing the impact of this hateful rhetoric, as well as space for community discussion and healing. Funding will also be used for outreach to people with limited or no English capability, non-native English speakers, and others from marginalized communities.
Any amount you are able to give will go far:
- Yoga session for one individual: $15
- One community acupuncture session: $33
- Five community acupuncture sessions: $165
Thank you to anyone who is able to give! Please help us spread the word by sharing this with your friends and neighbors.
Please note: this fundraiser is organized in partnership with Third Root Community Health Center by its community members. Please direct your questions about the fundraising campaign to [email protected]
