Jasmine was one of the saddest dogs at the shelter. She had been adopted and returned to the shelter, likely due to her medical issues, some of which were stress induced. She appeared to have lived a very neglected life and we wanted to help her.
We rescued Jasmine and addressed most of her medical issues. Her fosters have helped her tremendously with her stress. She will need to take eye drops for the rest of her life, but she has developed confidence and is no longer the saddest little dog.
Jasmine would have been ready to find her forever home, but life has thrown her another curve. She has a mass on her foot. A needle biopsy was performed. Sadly, the mass is suspected to be cancerous.
One of the recommended treatments is the use of chemo beads put into place when the mass is surgically removed. We would like to proceed with this course of treatment as we feel this is the best option for her.
We rescued Jasmine from the shelter with a commitment to finding her a loving home and we want to follow through with our commitment to her. Added to what we have spent so far, the estimate for her medical care should be approximately $4,000. Please help us help Jasmine with a donation toward her medical care. Thank you!
