The Story

The Loveland Titans Mitey-Mite Black team has fought a hard fight this season with a 12 and 0 record. This Mitey-Mite team has earned the Rocky Mountain Pop Warner championship title, the Colorado State Pop Warner Championship title, and the Pop Warner Jefferson Conference Championship title.

This team of primarily third and fourth graders now has the opportunity to travel from Northern Colorado to San Antonio, Texas to play for the Southwest Regional Pop Warner Championship on November 18th. The money donated will help pay for the travel expenses to and from the championships for the 18 players on the team.

This Mitey-Mite team of 7, 8, and 9 year old boys have been diligently working since August for the opportunity to play at the big show in Texas. In August these players start with 2 and half hour practices 4 days a week to prepare for the regular season. Once school starts they practice 2 hours a night, three nights a week. Each weekend they travel up and down northern Colorado playing teams from Fort Collins to south Colorado Springs.

Loveland Titans and Pop Warner has taught these young men not only to be successful on the football field but also how to be successful in the classroom. These student athletes have successfully managed school, football, and family for the past several months.
Please help these young men travel from Loveland, CO to San Antonio, Texas and back again. The goal of all 18 players is to bring that championship trophy to Colorado. Roll Titans!

Thank You MM Black Supporters!

The players and coaches did it! They brought the Southwest Regional Pop Warner Championship to Colorado. Our entire team could not have gone without your generous support.

The game was amazing to watch! The two defenses kept each team to a 0-0 score for most of the game. There were two times at the end of the fourth quarter that two of our players broke into the end zone, but the officials would not call it. It was heart breaking to the offensive line. They came off the field for a short break right before overtime.

Coach Pat won the coin toss and chose to let the Cardinals have the ball first. He had complete confidence in Coach Bill and his defense. He knew beyond a shadow of a doubt his defense would stop the ball; after all they had shut out the Cardinals running game ALL game long.  The Cardinals offense was no match for the Titans defense. The score stayed 0-0.

Coach Pat and his offense took the field with four opportunities to score. He knew that he could pass the ball all night and if that didn't work he knew his kicker would come through for the team. The first pass was incomplete but almost there.  The second pass connected with the receiver. The Titans MM Black wins the Southwest Regional Pop Warner Championship!!

This group of coaches and players had such an amazing bond. The style of coaching encouraged the players to go out there and play their hearts out.  And in return, the attitude and eagerness of the players encouraged the coaches to be the best coaches they could be.

As team manager I could not be more proud of these coaches and players. Thank you again, for your financial support, without you we could not have gone to San Antonio, Texas.
