The Art Ranch (501 C3) Non-Profithas launched its new initiative, the Art in Action Psychosocial Initiative, which is a 3 component module using art, drama, and music therapies, facilitated by psychologists and art therapists, to support the healthy development of refugee children and to guide them toward viable futures in their new communities. THE AIA IN-SCHOOL SERVICE, WHICH ADDRESSES THE WAR TRAUMA OF REFUGEE CHILDREN, HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO INCLUDE ALL YOUTH WHO ARE EXPERIENCING EMOTIONAL CHALLENGES.
Our program has produced such positive results in these past six months that AIA is now being offered as an in-school curriculum to help all children with emotional challenges. The AIA Initiative is positioned to be implemented into schools all over Europe and in the U.S. and researched by the International Psychoanalytic University. This is a dream come true for our AIA Team.
These new developments could not have been achieved without your support and the dedicated work of our AIA Team. As Founder and Executive Director, I want to express my deepest appreciation to you all!
Now we must ask for your support, so that we can continue to bring AIA to more children as an in-school service.
Our children are our hope for the future. Art in Action (AIA) addresses children's challenges at the onset and provides consistency and long term guidance. Through this program, children can heal their emotional issues, build self-esteem and learn self-reliance. Our art therapy module encourages youth to open their minds and imaginations to new ideas and unlimited possibilities for their future, and the future of our planet.
“We can't solve problems with the same minds that created them.” - Albert Einstein
“If we are to teach real peace in this world, and if we are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children.” - Ghandi
The mission of the Art Ranch is to foster the growth of young people as creators, communicators and active participants in our ever changing, multi- faceted world.
Please help us to continue to impact our children with AIA's in-school Initiative.
The AIA Team.
