WHO IS TEKOA? Tekoa Missions is a missionary outpost training center located in Newport, NH, right in the middle of the Northeastern United States. Family and friends have come together to carry forward the work of spreading the gospel. There is a special work to do and a special blessing for all those who take part in this work.
WHAT DO WE DO? Tekoa Missions is engaged in training young people to become gospel medical missionaries, developing Christian character, engaging the community via missionary work and so much more. Just so you can get an idea of what we do let me list the various functions and activities of the Tekoa:
1. Training Missionaries in the bible and medical missionary work.
2. Literature Evangelism
3. In-home lifestyle consultations
4. Health Education (Inclusive of Health Expo, Health Seminars)
5. Food Production (Farming)
6. Enterprise Development (Manna Mix, an all-natural trail mix)
7. Media (Tekoa On Demand) Broadcast online and soon on local channels
8. Evangelistic Series
9. Yearly Convocation and so much more.
Praise and honor belong to our God. He has allowed us to be a part of this work and our desire is to duplicate and expand these projects. In an effort to do this we need to raise $120,000 to continue our present work and establish a work that will impact souls for Jesus. The vision God has set on our hearts is bigger than us. We do not expect to have only one outpost but several of these programs all over the world. We are told in inspiration:
"The Garden of Eden was a representation of what God desired the whole earth to become, and it was His purpose that, as the human family increased in numbers, they should establish other homes and schools like the one He had given. Thus in course of time the whole earth might be occupied with homes and schools where the words and the works of God should be studied, and where the students should thus be fitted more and more fully to reflect, throughout endless ages, the light of the knowledge of His glory." Education 22.2
Powerful thought. This is what we are seeking to do. Notice this below.
"The Lord will give to our sanitariums whose work is already established an opportunity to co-operate with Him in assisting newly established plants. Every new institution is to be regarded as a sister helper in the great work of proclaiming the third angel's message. God has given our sanitariums an opportunity to set in operation a work that will be as a stone instinct with life, growing as it is rolled by an invisible hand. Let this mystic stone be set in motion.” Testimonies for the Church 7:59. ChS 137.6
We are a part of the fulfillment of this movement guided by God's invisible hand. Once set in motion the work can be finished.
WHAT WILL THE FUNDS BE USED FOR?
Your sacrificial offerings will be used to enable Tekoa Missions to continue its missionary outreach and developmental programs. - Building & Landscaping for mini-sanitarium - Evangelistic Meeting - Literature for Distribution - Media Programming & Development - Vehicles - Gardening (Foundational to our Outpost) - Hire & pay more workers for Christ.
SO THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS THIS COULD WORK.
1000 people could give $10 a month for a year. Some could give one huge donation. Every donation is huge to us wether it is $5 or $50,000. We truly value and appreciate all that God entrust us with. Let God lead you. We are so excited to see this miracle happening. Join us by giving and advancing the work in the East and around the world.
WHEN DO ALL PLEDGES/ DONATIONS NEED TO BE TALLIED?
We are desiring that all donations & pledges be totaled by May 31st. This will help us set our budgets and execute our evangelistic efforts accordingly.
YOUR SUPPORT WOULD MEAN SO MUCH TO US
Brothers and Sisters the support you give, no matter the amount will mean so much to the student missionaries, staff, and the thousands of souls that will be garnered in for the Kingdom of God. This campaign will be successful. All praise and honor go to our God in heaven. Thank you in advance for prayerfully supporting the work here in the Northeast. Our hearts are already full of gratitude.
Your Brother in Christ,
Andre C. Waller
