The Story

The Katy ISD Teddy Cop program is headed by Officer Luis Santiago.  Teddy Cop was started by Officer Santiago as a way to benefit the special needs community in Katy, TX.  Katy ISD has 36 elementary schools with a special needs program.  This equates to over 1,000 special needs children in the district.  Officer Santiago raises money to provide these wonderful "buddies" to each of these children.  These bears are purchased from Build-a-Bear with their unique outfit matching our local Katy ISD Police's uniform.  He has worked tirelessly to provide for so many children including the older special needs students upon graduation.   We need to help him cross the finish line.  He only has a few hundred remaining  and he would love to be able to purchase additional bears for the students starting in these programs in the upcoming years. Officer Santiago serves the special needs community selflessly, so let's make the fundraising the easiest part for him.  Thank you all so very much for your giving.
