Taylor has had many struggles in the recent months. She has developed gastroparesis and her weight has dropped drastically to 85 pounds which has developed other symptoms. A feeding tube has been placed in hopes to get her back up to a healthy weight. Taylor has recently visited a treatment facility to receive therapies to help her build her immune system and knock out the infections that have taken over. But, unfortunately they were not able to continue with treatment due to her poor veins and needs a port to continue. They were able to do what they could which there was some improvement, and we learned a lot and have pointed us in the right direction. So for now we have returned home to work on the issues with gastrology that are still uncertain and finding a doctor they may help with inserting a port to continue treatment.
But, the most hopeful advice that has been given to where the most beneficial treatment for her case is to head off for treatment in Germany. She will receive many forms of treatment and detoxing protocols. We feel this is our last hope in getting Taylor her life back and off to Med School herself to help others that have been through this struggle as well. There is openings in September and is a three week treatment. The cost of treatment and lodging will be $27,300 plus airfare. We will forever be truly grateful to get Taylor back on the path to healing!!
