If you don’t know David and Tammy Preston, and their kids Wesley and Hannah, I wish you did. You would be blessed. The Preston family served as missionaries with Blue Sky and Rosslyn Academy between 2011-2015. Many lives in both of these communities were forever touched! Even after they moved back to the Atlanta, GA David continued to work for Blue Sky, making several trips a year to Kenya. Following one of those trips, Dave had a massive brainstem stroke. After 110 days in the hospital and rehab, David is back home with his family. However, what is next for this precious family is still the question on everyone’s mind. Although Dave receives some home health and physical therapy through insurance, it is not enough. He still has a long road of recovery ahead. Tammy is full time care-giver and breadwinner. Although her workplace has been generous with vacation time and flexible schedules, this family needs steady income and more help for David so that Tammy can work and David can receive the therapy he needs. When they moved back to the USA, they purchased their first home. Providentially, the previous owner was in a wheelchair and thus the door frames are already wheelchair friendly, however, the master bathroom needs some fixtures to make it more accessible. They would love to stay in this home, but on one income it will be difficult. Please consider sponsoring, Physical Therapy sessions at $150 each, home improvements at $250 or a $500 contribution towards their home mortgage and living expenses. These amounts are just suggestions, please give as you are able.
Let’s show them the kind of love they were so generous to give to our Rosslyn Community and Kenya.
