The Story

I have been helping street dogs in Thailand for many years. The area I live in now has many homeless dogs that need help. I know I can't help them all, but I am trying to make a difference to the lives of as many as I possibly can. Daily I feed 30 dogs, as well as medicating, vaccinating and sterilising them. I deal with things from cancer, TVT ( transmissible venereal tumours), blood parasite infections, car accidents, mange, distemper, miscarriages and much more. The key to stopping the problem of homeless dogs, that usually have to suffer a life of sickness and scavenging for food, is spaying and neutering. I am trying to spay, neuter and vaccinate as many dogs as possible. Every single day my heart breaks for these dogs and not being able to help them all. Some dogs are also at risk of being sold for the dog meat trade. I also try to find as many dogs as possible loving forever homes. I also bring dogs into my home to be fostered, place them in foster homes and vet clinics if necessary. Please help me to continue helping these precious street dogs. Nobody else is helping them and they all deserve a chance to live a wonderful life.

At the moment, I feel incredibly frustrated.

I am caring for around 45 to 50 dogs and right now I simply can't afford to keep doing this. The feeding and medical costs are simply too much. I am doing only the basics, but still have to cut back. I am still unable to source medical supplies directly from a wholesaler.

I feed them to gain their trust, to then be able to treat and sterilise them. Now I have dogs needing vaccinations, sterilisations and tick treatments. All these cost money and add up with so many dogs.

Also, there is the outstanding about for Harry's treatment, which I am dreading to know the exact amount. And the foster home costs which keep the dogs safe from danger until they are adopted.

I am extremely grateful to everyone who makes a donation and shares my post. Without your support I can't do this.

Please consider a one off donation or a regular monthly donation. Every little bit helps and no amount is too small. The exchange rate has dropped again which makes things even worse! Have a great day xx

Every day feeding includes:

foster home - 10 dogs
vet clinic - 1 dog
bus station - 6 dogs
by the lake - 11 dogs
at the beach - 13 to 15 dogs
at home - 8 dogs

Their daily food consists of rice and 5kg of either dog mince, chicken, chicken livers/hearts or eggs. Coconut oil and fish oil are added to their food for their skin.

The dogs at the foster home and my home, also have dry food every morning. This is sometimes added to the street dogs food too.

The 3 puppies at my home are eating sachets of puppy food and dry food. I am currently supplementing their diet with home cooked food. Molly's pups are also needing canned milk as she isn't producing enough. Molly also needs extra high protein food, as she is thin and suffering blood parasites. Most days I give her extra chicken or eggs.

The cost to feed the dogs is around 400 to 500 baht per day. This does not include the costs for medications and vet visits.

My feeding numbers have slowly increased. It is difficult to be in a certain area to feed and medicate dogs and not feed all the dogs.

Without your generous support, I can't do this. If you can help with a donation, monthly or one off, it would be greatly appreciated. Sharing is also very much appreciated and valuable. Thanks for your support xx

Currently I am caring for around 45 dogs. Every month is a struggle to pay for food, medicine, medical treatments, foster home etc. The exchange rate has dropped again, which makes things even harder.

Please consider a monthly donation towards these costs. No amount is too small, every little bit helps. A few people have set up monthly donations and some make regular donations, which I am extremely grateful for.

I dream of the day when I don't have to worry every day about finding funds to help the dogs.

Your support helps me to help the dogs. Without you all, I can't do what I do. Thanks so much for your support. Much love xx
