The Story

Stanley J. Moore, Sr. has been fighting Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) since he was diagnosed in 2010. He is single with five children, Stanley Jr., Michael, Reese, Ginnette, Erica and a girlfriend, Jackie.

Stan has been working at Northgate Ford (formerly Lincoln Mercury) - Cincinnati as an auto technician for 13 years even after his diagnosis.  His hobby is playing as a lead guitarist with Soul Quest Band Cincinnati.  All this was done to keep himself as healthy as possible while receiving intermittent ongoing chemo treatments at the Jewish Hospital Kenwood in Cincinnati.  He was fairly stable and was even in remission at one time over the last seven years until most recently.

His health condition was compromised with another health crisis.  On September 20, 2017, Stan underwent open heart surgery where he received a double bypass at Mercy West Hospital in Cincinnati.  Once he is stronger, he will continue his CLL treatments.

Stan has touched the lives of everyone he encounters with his fun loving personality...his family and friends, neighbors, co-workers and his bandmates are planning a live benefit to be held on November 5, 2017 from 3-7 PM at the "20th Century" 3021 Madison Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45209.  Contact the organizer for additional information.

Any and all donations will go directly to Stan to help pay for his mounting medical expenses.  He will be paying for both his leukemia and cardiac conditions with your help.

Your efforts can help Stan know that people do care.  Pray for his continued healing and strength to endure what lies ahead.  Thank-you for any donations and shares to his cause.

Today is the benefit for Stan!  3021 Madison Rd., the 20th Century Theater.  He is doing really well; still building up his endurance but is stronger than he was at the last update.  He hopes to see you there!

The last week and a half have been challenging for Stan.  He ended up back in the hospital because of blood clots in both of his lungs and legs.  But good news!  He was discharged from the hospital after receiving a heparin drip and 2 units of blood.  He is now taking blood thinners and is beginning to recover with improved endurance!  Hopefully he will be well enough to attend his fundraiser on November 5, 2017!  Get well Stan!
