Posted on February 15, 2017Today is International Childhood Cancer Day! Please keep Skylar and all cancer fighters in prayer. Help us support Skylar whenever and however you are able.
Skylar is doing better than we expected with all the chemo treatments and medicines he requires to help fight this awful thing called Burkitt Lymphoma. He has an amazing positive spirit and bright outlook. He still has some major obstacles ahead and will have another petscan soon. We are hopeful for a positive outcome. Thank you to everyone for your thoughts, comments, prayers and your financial contributions. It is so appreciated.

Posted on January 26, 2017Great news! Skylar was released from the hospital Tuesday January 24! He was so excited to be going home finally. He will have to return periodically as an outpatient for maintenance checkups and meds. The good news is he is in remission and that is going to continue We are very hopeful So proud of our grandson Skylar. He has endured the worse possible event for a child to endure and has come through it with grace. Please continue to pray this terrible thing called Burkitt Lymphoma is gone. Thank you for your continued support.

Posted on January 22, 2017January 20, 2017 marked the end of Skylar's chemo. He celebrated with a hospital sponsored party where he had his favorite food....Pizza! Followed with a mine craft cake in the shape of his favorite game.
Although this treatment is finished Skylar has months and years ahead of him for follow up pet scans and lab work with maintenance treatments planned for outpatient. He would love to be able to stay home and he is already looking forward to returning to school, but until that happens Skylar is managing to stay on task with a tutor and hospital and home schooling.
Skylar is truly our Superhero and is counting down the days until his last treatment on Wednesday.
Thank you for following Skylar's story and progress and know how much your prayers and support mean to this little guy!
