Despite overcoming a previous cancer diagnosis, on January 13, 2017, Shan LeAnne Stapleton Yetter and her family were devastated to find out the cancer had returned and spread throughout her body. Shan is currently receiving treatment in Arizona. The family is encouraged by preliminary test results that show organ function has not been compromised. Treatment is working to restore her immune system function and reduce the cancer-causing toxins in her body.
Shan remains confident that with the right tools, she can achieve a full recovery. Her faith in God continues to be a source of strength and peace in her life, even in the face of uncertainty.
Shan is the mother of 3 adorable kids, and is fighting to be able to kiss their squishy cheeks each day and tickle their feet each night at bedtime, and watch them grow up, with her husband Kyle by her side. She is also looking forward to continue to play volleyball and music with him.
With humility and gratitude, the Yetter family will use your generosity towards:
Funding treatments for Shan that are not covered by insurance
Supplements to augment her treatments
Travel expenses back and forth to Arizona
