The Story

Shalom International School is a catch-up school located in a poor community outside Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.

This past November heavy rains eroded away the back portion of the land that the school sits on, threatening the building and the safety of the over 200 children who attend each day to learn English and learn about Jesus.

Our desire is to build a retaining wall on the back side of the property to prevent farther damage from the river, and ensure that this school can continue to operate, serving these precious children, and being a light in its community. Will you prayerfully consider giving to aid in this endeavour? Also, as you feel led, please share this page with your friends through social media. Thank you for your prayers and consideration.

We haven't updated in a while, but to those who have given, just wanted to let you see the progress that is being made. Pastor Chhinho just posted these pictures a few days ago showing how the work is progressing. Again, thank you all for your support in helping make these repairs possible! Praying that God will continue to use this school as a light in the nation of Cambodia.
