A super 8-year old girl, Sevi Park, was diagnosed with leukemia in November 2015, after a trip to the doctor when her parents thought she had allergies. Unfortunately, as veterans of the U.S. Air Force, her parents have literally been to war and seen horrific things. But nothing could prepare them when their first born got cancer. Right now, their family needs all of the support they can hold!
Because they are a family of five, with three young children, one parent working and the other taking care of home and three children, they need help. They recently moved to Denver, CO, for a better job, with few family or friends nearby. Many have asked how you could help.
Sevi's diagnosis has impacted their ability to stay in their apartment (also, their apartment flooded two weeks after her diagnosis), what household cleaner they use, and what they eat. Your generous donation will help them finance the unexpected parts of Sevi's diagnosis. They are working closely with Sevi's school, their insurance, and their hospital's social worker to get much of what they need. However, there are things that those institutions (and their income) doesn't cover.
This page, and/or their blog, will be updated with purchases covered by your generous donation.
This fundraiser is organized by their family friend, Eva Woodward, and the beneficiary is Patrick Park, Sevi's father. The money goes directly to him and will be managed by Patrick and Sevi's mom, Brittany. If you donate, the money goes through WePay, and all but the processing fee of the website goes directly to the Park Family.
