The Story

Sasha was so many things, amongst them a loving son, caring brother, newlywed husband, loyal friend, respectful neighbor, knowledgeable bartender, industry mentor, kindred soul and old-fashioned gentleman. But above all he was one of a kind.

This site has been established in memory of Sasha Petraske, who passed away too soon on August 20, 2015 from a heart attack at the age of 42. This memorial fund seeks to defray his funeral costs and support the issues he was passionate about, including classic cocktails, social justice, NY entrepreneurship and feline friends. As to why $134 as the chosen goal amount? Because 134 Eldridge, the address of Milk & Honey, was where so much of his legacy began to emerge. We hope that you join us in remembering his humble spirit and charming smile.

In the coming weeks we will be adding more to this site on Sasha's legacy and the causes your support will aid in helping.
