On December 23, 2013, Sarah Elizabeth Sharpe passed away from childhood cancer.
Sarah Elizabeth loves GOD first, then people. She has always loved butterflies, balloons, rainbows and anything that brings Joy. An avid reader and swimmer, she loved on cats, horses, dogs and animals of all sizes especially her cat Simbie.
Wise beyond her years, she knew she was going home several months before. In early October 2013, she shared that she was going on a trip and the angels were coming to get her with a pastor friend.
Sarah Elizabeth was cared for at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando, Florida on the pediatric cancer floor. Her parents, Eleanor Katherine and Timothy would love to share a smile and hug with the patients that will be facing these same hard trials as this holiday season approaches.
Your $25 (or more) donation will provide a child with a Cuddle Bear Book and plush Cuddle Bear to help lift their spirits. Little kids should never have to battle a grown up disease, and this is our chance to provide these amazingly brave kids a little hug.
It is our goal to raise at least $10,000.00 with Usborne Books matching every dollar raised 50%. That means for every 2 sets donated, Usborne will donate 1 set. With every purchase of the Cuddle Bear set Usborne Books & More will donate part of the proceeds to the Scott Carter Foundation which funds childhood cancer research.
