Sacred Heart Church of Olema has been a cornerstone of West Marin for a century and a half and remains a vital asset to many. We Need Your Help to keep the doors open and services flowing, now more than ever!
In some ways nothing has changed at Sacred Heart since the mid 1800's when the Sacred Heart missionary fathers went back and forth to the island of Molokai to serve the leper colony. Today, Sacred Heart Church is still at the heart of the greater West Marin community; serving, sharing, striving for social justice, and lending a helping hand in solidarity to all who are in need. At the same time, so much in the world has changed, and the needs of the church's 'heart and soul' must be reinforced in order to continue offering services to the community, and to conduct baptisms, funerals, weddings and holiday celebrations our faith community looks to the church to provide.
We ask you to please join us in in attending the 2nd Annual 'One Heart - One Community' Benefit BBQ on Sunday June 17, 2018 - 12:00pm to 4:00pm, on the beautiful grounds of Sacred Heart Church in Olema. It promises to be a family-friendly fun-filled day of multi-cultural musical entertainment by Los Centzontles Cultural Academy, activities, food, drink and fellowship. If you are unable to attend but wish to help us support the SACRED HEART CHURCH SANCTUARY PROJECT by making a monetary contribution, please know that your donation will mean much to so many, and that your investment will be an enduring and indelible mark on the fabric of this very special place. We are all truly 'One Heart - One Community'!
