Posted on June 10, 2016Our boy Jack is settling in with his foster family. He will have his consult with the vets at the surgical center coming up quickly. We will know very soon what treatment path he will need to give him the relief from his discomfort due to his shoulder dysplasia. If you can find it in your heart to help Jack by donating, please help us help him. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

Posted on April 20, 2016Rarely does the shelter ever ask for help but this is one of those occasions where we aren’t too proud to ask when one of our own is hurting.
As you know our little city run shelter is not equipped to financially handle special medical cases. When we noticed Jack having trouble a friend of Royse City Paws offered to get Jack over to Country Friends Veterinary Clinic to find out what the problem was.
Jack has the following issues: Bilateral hip dysplasia, a torn cruciate ligament, and severe discomfort on the flexion of his shoulder. He has some skin issues as well. Jack is going to need to see a specialist and we just aren’t equipped to handle this however we want to do the best we can for Jack and try to locate a rescue to take him. He is going to require ongoing medical attention, medication and so forth.
We humbly ask for any assistance possible in getting him the treatment he requires where Jack doesn’t have to be in pain. If you aren’t able to make a monetary donation will please share his fundraiser? Many thanks from Jack, our ACO’s, and shelter volunteers.
