After many months in foster, we were beginning to wonder if we would be able to find the right family for both Romeo and Juliette together. We were so desperate to keep them together, but had no interest in a bonded pair. Then we were introduced by one of our wonderful Laika adopters in New York, to an equally wonderful person in Connecticut, who was looking to open her home to either a senior, or a bonded pair, both of which are often more difficult to place. While Romeo and Juliette are not quite seniors, they are far from young dogs, so fit both categories.
The adopter fell in love with Romeo and Juliette, and has agreed to welcome them into the family. This pair who touched hearts all over with their sad story, will travel to a new life in the US. She will cover costs of getting one dog to the US, and we will fund the other.
They've waited so long. Please help us get this deserving pair to a new life! A small donation will join with others, to give a happy ending to this love story!
