The Story

Hey friends and family! Recently I was given the opportunity to travel with my mom to Nosara, Costa Rica as a part of my church's mission trip in late February. In Nosara, we will be building two houses for two families in need, as well as bringing items that they may not have access to, like school supplies, sports equipment, games, etc. I've always felt drawn to the issue of homelessness, and I feel that this mission trip will allow me to really make a difference in a major way. If you'd like to read more about past trips taken by our partner church to this same area, click here: www.uccmedina.org/mission-trips/
During the trip, we will be working alongside the recipient families and getting to know them while building these two basic homes. I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity to see another part of the world and to practice speaking Spanish as a way of building community with the families as well as local tradespeople and friends. Thank you in advance for your support in any form, e.g. financial support, well wishes, love, etc...! Specifically, we're raising money for travel costs, transportation within the country, and buying supplies to bring with us. Thank you for your help! If you'd like more information about why this trip means so much to me, please watch my video.  (Sorry, but contributions are not tax deductible)
