There is a family in desperate need of our help. The single dad and two children, Leza (6) and Peter (1 ½) have been in the country for about two years and are struggling to hold on. Leza is in remission from leukemia and still receiving treatment. The dad lost his job a month ago because he had to take Leza for treatments and the mom left around the same time. Just before Christmas, the kids are trying to adjust without their mom for the first time, while the dad struggles to find a way to support his family. They are behind on rent and don’t have the necessities that many of us take for granted, including food, beds, warm clothing, etc. All three currently sleep on a mattress in a one bedroom apartment that needs some tender loving care (deep cleaning, painting, furniture, possible mold removal, etc.). Your donation will help buy groceries, stock their pantry, pay their rent, furnish their home and do whatever else we can together. This family needs prayers and also financial support to help them get back on their feet. They are strong, brave, loving, and have faith that God will protect them.
Please consider helping in any way you can.
