Our Mission:In July, Junior students from the University of Cincinnati's Nursing Program are traveling to Quito, Ecuador with a foundation known as Timmy Global Health to provide medical care for a number of poverty-stricken communities. We need your help to raise money to bring thousands of vitamins to these families to enable them to fulfill a healthy lifestyle. Living arrangements, as well as sanitary conditions, are not the best in these communities. The water is contaminated and the food is sparse. Therefore, nutritional and vitamin deficiencies are very common leading to many tragic illnesses. These communities have been receiving medical help from Timmy Global Health for several years and count on us as one of their main sources of health care.
Our Goal:As a group, we hope to raise enough money to provide 25,000 adult vitamins, 25,000 children vitamins, and 10,000 prenatal vitamins for a total of 60,000 vitamins to help the people of Ecuador.
While in Ecuador, we will be setting up clinics throughout many different communities and providing various types of medical care. This care ranges from check ups, dentistry, pharmacy, and many other miscellaneous tasks based on patients' needs. We hope to provide medical care to about 100 patients a day with your help!
THANK YOUin advance for taking the time to donate, all of the funds we raise will go directly to helping the suffering families of Ecuador. Every donation helps and is greatly appreciated!
