From the site "The cost to adopt a cat over 16 weeks from the shelter is usually $48. This fee includes the basic adoption fee, a microchip, an FVRCP vaccine and spay/neuter. The cost to adopt a cat under 16 weeks can range between $53 and $63 and contains all of the above but, depending on whether or not a cat is old enough and weighs enough to be spay/neutered, $10 extra will be added to the spay/neuter deposit fee. If a cat is sick but considered Friendly on a Medical Waiver, the fee also ranges. For F-MW kitties over 16 weeks, the fee ranges between $50 and $58 and may or may not include the FVRCP vaccine and does include a spay/neuter deposit fee. F-MW kitties are not sent to be spayed/neutered because they are ill and cannot safely undergo the procedure. Kittens under 16 weeks who are F-MW range will generally cost between $53 and $63 to rescue.
Because it is KD's policy to only adopt out sterilized cats who have recieved all their vaccines and who have undergone testing for FeLV/FIV, we only pull Medical Waiver kitties for fosters - not adopters.... To learn more got to http://kittydevorerescue.weebly.com/about-us.html
