Saturday morning was spent transporting Hazel & Jack. I drove from San Diego, CA to Yorba Linda where Hazel and Jack were in boarding with the intent to move them to another kennel-this one was closing to clean, mandated by the state of CA. It was fantastic to meet PINKYS BROTHER, JACK!! He's SMALLER than Pinky, has the glossiest black coat, appears very Lab like, and maybe mixed with hound, an amazing combination. He was very excitable, jumping around. Pinky would LOVE to play with a willing dog - especially HER BROTHER!!
I drove Hazel to the vet to get her staples out from her spay. She is tiny, too! And very pretty. We went straight into the room. A few minutes later we were ready to go. We hopped back into the car and followed Jack, driven by Ana. Hazel was such a great companion in the car! She slept the entire way to the other Kennel. It was a long day but very worth it.
We are needing at least 35 donors at $25 each to meet our goal to get Pinky, Jack & Hazel home!! Any amount is GREATLY APPRECIATED, and it adds up fast. Please skip your coffee this week and donate instead. Scrounge up some change from your couch-you found $2.35? Great! Send it over. :) Please share this fundraiser. We must keep up the momentum and meet our goal! -Maddie, Save-A-Life, Harbor Animal Shelter FB page Admin/Volunteer
