Courtney Goggans is a 17 year old girl who has one of the most caring and thoughtful souls you will ever encounter. She has been a young woman full of life, love, laughter, energy, and pureness. Courtney is the epitome of beautiful in every sense of the word. Along with being an avid runner and exercise enthusiast, she loves Jesus, her family, and her friends, and would do anything for them at any time. Courtney can walk into a room and her light will shine bright so that everyone around her becomes absorbed with happiness and a joyous spirit.
However, this all came to a hold when our sweet Courtney was unknowingly poisoned with Black Mold due to extended exposure that her and her family were completely unaware of. For the last few years, Courtney's body has been slowly deteriorating because of this terrible mold. Penny, Courtney's mother, has exhausted all efforts to get her daughter the proper medical care she needs for her grand mal seizures, severe migraines, painful joint problems, saddening depression, fuzzy brain fog, increasing memory loss, unexplained bleeding, and other illnesses secondary to this Black Mold exposure. Courtney is now home bound; not able to attend school and activities, she is in a wheelchair and unable to walk without assistance. Unfortunately, the specialized treatment needed to help Courtney's body detox of this fungus is very expensive and the provider does not accept insurance.
This precious family has literally been hell the last few years, and increasingly so over the last several months. Please, if you can at all, help this family and our beautiful Courtney. She is getting worse by the day and her weak body can't take much more. If you are not able to donate monetarily, that's perfectly okay. We ask that you pray for Courtney and her family - her health, her spirit, their finances, their strength, their faith.
We thank you for everything and you are more than welcome to share to help us raise awareness and aid this amazing young woman. Much love and many of God's blessings to you all!
