The Story

When we were fatherless, God invited us to His family and called us His beloved. When we were broken and ugly, God brought us into His throne of grace and made us beautiful through Christ. When we were hopeless, God showered us with everlasting love and promised us eternal glory.

As we grow more in knowledge of His crazy pursuit of love for us and this radical redemption story of our lives, we couldn't help but to imitate His love to this little girl in need. The amazing thing about this adoption journey is that as we take baby steps of faith, God returns to us hundred times more blessing and out-of-this-world-kind-of-love for this girl that only God can give.

Please pray for guidance and protection as A-Yun is currently with a foster family in Korea. We could also use your help financially. The cost of an international adoption from Korea is approximately $35,000. We don't expect to raise all of the funds through family and friends, but our goal is to raise $15,000.

Come walk this journey with us!

Hello supporters and friends! Just wanted to give you an update of how our adoption process is going. The waiting period so far has been exciting yet tiring. We are praying daily that God's loving hands and protection would be over our daughter in Korea.

Many have been asking when we'll be able to bring her home. Time frames are always affected by the number of Emigration Permits approved by the Ministry of Korea each year. I have been hearing that Korea is committed to expanding domestic adoption and decreasing the number of international adoptions each year. We are informed that the wait time from acceptance of child placement to coming home is approximately 13-16 months. So we are probably looking at the earliest by fall of 2017 or spring of 2018.

We would like to ask for your prayer that this wait time, miraculously, would shorten. It really aches our hearts thinking that our own daughter is away and that we are still strangers to her. Regardless of all our worries, I would like to trust that God is in full control and that He would work according to His perfect time and His sovereign, grand plan for her life.
