The Story

Meet Avery Neill!! She is a 5 year-old spunky, vivacious, beautiful, and nurturing little girl. She is an amazing sister to her twin sister and  younger brother as well as a great friend to all who have the joy of meeting her.
She loves fiercely and now it’s our turn to love on HER, both fiercely and fearlessly.

Avery was diagnosed with a brainstem tumor called DIPG, which is incurable and very little treatment exists. Average prognosis is 9-12 months.

Her parents, Andy and Emily are working closely with a great team of physicians and will be traveling to Washington, DC, in the coming days to Children’s National Medical Center where a treatment plan will be decided and a biopsy will most likely occur.
In addition to any clinical trials, Avery will undergo 5-6 weeks of daily radiation.

Please help relieve the financial burden of travel, lodging, meals, and treatment so that the Neill family can just enjoy precious time together as a family, making memories to last a lifetime!

Look at this cutie pie on Christmas. We are all grateful that Avery was able to spend Christmas with her family at home. This picture is just one of many that shows us the excitement of seeing Christmas through a child’s eyes!

Thank you SO much to everyone who has generously given to help the Neill family during this journey. Avery will be starting radiation treatments very soon and now is when we really need to show our love and support!

Tomorrow is a big day and we are asking for prayers! Avery will be getting a biopsy of her DIPG brain stem tumor to help further definitive clinical trial decisions and treatments, etc. She will have to spend at least one night in ICU and then another night in the hospital before she can hopefully be released to go home for Christmas!!

As you can imagine, this is a risky procedure but she is in great hands with a wonderful team of physicians but, most importantly, she is in the great hands of her Heavenly Father!

Please join us in fervent prayer for sweet Avery and her family.

We love you!
