Paola and Richar were detained in August at the Tijuana border. They been held at Santa Ana Jail for over four months and we need your support to afford an "expert witness" to get them out. They are two amazing trans undocumented women from Honduras who are resilient, intelligent, and hard working.
These women are fleeing violence and persecution in their home country. They were assisted in Tijuana by Cocut Lgbti AC, asked for asylum at the San Ysidro port of entry on September 14th. They have been detained in the “GBT pod”, which is used to house trangender women and cisgender gay men. Their final hearings in their asylum cases are coming up quickly and we are finally at the point where we need to raise some funds.
PLEASE HELP US OUT!
