We have a lot of vetting coming up....
Otto will be going in on Saturday to have his rear legs looked at and x-rayed. He is in a good deal of pain and being VERY protective of his hip area. We are picking up his sedatives for Friday night/Saturday morning and more pain meds to keep him comfortable today. Saturday will be a tough one on all of us I'm sure!
Mickie got some new meds for her fungus feet. Her toes have healed up well but they have not completely cleared. She loves her new meds as it gives her a special treat that she never gets...a pill pocket! The new medicine hasn't bothered her stomach at all and has also kept it in check for her to handle the pill pocket.
Ms. Lily will be going in for her 2nd and 3rd injections for her heartworm. She did absolutely amazing with her 1st injection and we are optimistic she'll sail through the rest of her treatment and she can finally be rid of those nasty heartworm.
Sambuca was started on a new medication for his non stop wheezing. He seems to be having the same issue that our boy Bronx had where the pneumonia was so bad that scar tissue formed in his lungs. Dr. T put him on what Bronx has been using and it has made a HUGE difference so he may be on this for a while until his lungs fully heal.
Roc & Rollin are getting ready to take their "Snueter is Cuter" pledge, get microchipped and receive their final boosters. Last step on a long road of recovery for them both! Rollin will be heading home to his new family after his snip....and they can both just enjoy the good life they deserve!
$1 $5, $10....every donation makes a huge impact. Can't donate? Please share! Every share helps the babies get the care they need. Thank you!
