Many individuals and families in the Ottawa area have been affected by the recent flooding. Families are dealing with significant damage to their homes and some have had to evacuate completely.
During this particular time of uncertainty, the Ottawa Paw Pantry is offering crisis support to families with pets affected by the floods who are unable to afford food for their furry family members and may be forced to give up their pets without food assistance.
The Ottawa Paw Pantry relies completely on the generosity of donations. Help Ottawa pet owners in crisis keep the paws in their family by donating today. The Ottawa Paw Pantry is a 100% volunteer run and donation-driven pet food bank dedicated to serving the Ottawa community. Through an application process, clients can apply for support for up to 6 months.
We provide food on a monthly basis for cats and dogs and work with community partners to provide referrals to both human and pet services, such as spay/neuter. As it stands, we help over 65 cats and dogs each month.
Sadly, we have a waitlist and cannot help fill all the furry bellies in Ottawa. As of August, we have approximately 60 families, totally 126 pets in need on our waitlist.
We need the support from our Ottawa community to help us fulfill our mission of filling these furry bellies. Help us reach our goal!
