As an Army veteran, Tim spent a lot of time at the VA and would always make remarks about the young soldiers returning from combat that were in need of help adjusting to civilian life.

To help give Veterans a creative outlet through photography and the digital art created from it.
The Warrior Photo Project is a non-profit organization based out of the American Lake VA in Tacoma, Washington. Different Vets deal with different issues and the purpose of the WPP is to help Veterans learn to express themselves through digital photography.
The entire program is free to participate in and everything is funded through donations. Some of the things we provide are: digital cameras, help with photo editing via Photoshop and a picture frame shop to mat and frame their finished art. The frame shop itself is run by Veterans and all frame stock and equipment has been acquired through generous donations. Finished art pieces are displayed not only at the VA Hospital, but at various outlets where they are for sale and the proceeds are recycled back into the program therefore making us self sufficient.
